AJAX products look very sleek, have a modern design

Magnetic contacts can also be reversed. You can use the giant magnet to create a door further away from the frame. It’s simple: Read and then Edit. The app allows you to adjust the sensitivity of motion sensors. The motion detector indoors has the lowest setting for people who have pets and are less than 20kg.

There are two options for attaching most sensors: using the supplied double-sided adhesive tape or using screws. The video is helpful, but AJAX Systems recommends the screws for maximum security. The tape can be used to verify the sensors’ positions. Does the magnetic contact function well? Then, you can use screws. Do you feel the Ajax Systems motion detector detects your movements? Next, could you turn it on? The app can be used to run a signal strength test (Jeweler sign strength test and Damping testing) and a test of detection (Detection Zone test) for each sensor. The sensor’s feedback is displayed via LEDs and in the app.

Once you open the app, you will immediately be taken to the Remote tab. Here you can manage the alarm. This remote can be used in the same way as the physical remote. The log can be found on the tab just next to it. The record shows what is happening and which sensors are sending a message. It also lists who was responsible for the alarm. The Rooms tab provides an overview of the rooms and temperature. Each room can have its name or image.

Finally, you will find the Devices Tab. Here, you can view a clear image of every device. Icons indicate how the battery is doing, the signal strength, the delay between switching on and off, and whether night mode is enabled. Clicking on a device will display a more detailed overview. You will also see details like the status and location of the lid. You will also see the remaining battery percentage. You can use the gear to view the adjustable settings, which may differ from one device to the next. This screen also allows you to do detection and signal strength tests.

If you are unable to work with other users, your alarm will not be a smart one. The app allows you to add multiple users (maximum 50). You have many options for limiting the users. You can control who receives notifications, how they are delivered, and which screens they have access to. Users can also create alarm codes (for disarming or arming) and set their duress codes. Logs can be viewed if every user has their codes.

The app, button, remote, or KeyPad can all be used to operate the alarm manually. Geofencing allows you to set boundaries around your house. By selecting this option, you can indicate how far you’d like to receive a notification within the app. You will get a message on the smartphone or smartwatch as soon as you move beyond 500 meters. This will ask you whether you wish to activate an alarm. If your alarm is set and you travel within that range, you will get a message asking you to deactivate the alarm. Security reasons prevent the notice from being automatically deactivated or activated. While this has been true with other alarm systems, it is not a common problem. This makes it our recommendation.

AJAX Systems is not able to offer cameras. Although that is a different sport, the company states that it does show the possibility of integrating cameras. You can also add network cameras to the app that support RTSPH.264. Native support can add Dahua, Uniview, and Hikvision cameras to the app. You must activate a control-room to receive additional verification. This helps reduce false alarms.
